Privacy and Cookies
What we collect, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible
Face Code Aesthetic, 250 Upper Richmond Road, Putney, London SW15 6TG, is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@facecodeaesthetic.co.uk or on 020 3633 3021 with any question about your data.
What we collect and why
For enquiries we collect your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us about what you are interested in. The lawful basis is your consent, and it is used only to reply to you.
For treatment we additionally collect medical history, medication, allergies, consent records, clinical notes and, where you agree, photographs. Health data is a special category under UK GDPR, and we process it on the basis of the provision of health care by a regulated health professional.
Clinical photographs are taken only with your specific consent. Consent to take photographs for your clinical record is separate from consent to use them publicly. You can refuse either, or both, and it will not affect your treatment.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are retained for the period required by professional guidance for health records, which is a minimum of eight years after your last appointment. Enquiry correspondence that does not lead to treatment is deleted within twelve months.
Who we share it with
Your records are not sold, and they are not shared for marketing. Information is shared only where clinically necessary, such as with your GP with your agreement, or where we are required to do so by law.
Our booking system is operated by a third party provider who processes appointment data on our behalf under a written agreement.
Your rights
You have the right to see the information we hold about you, to have inaccuracies corrected, to restrict or object to processing, to request erasure where it applies, and to receive a copy of your data. Requests are handled within one month and there is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not profile visitors. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads.
If analytics are added in future, they will be introduced behind a consent banner, and nothing that identifies you will be collected before you agree to it.
