Narrowing a square lower face gradually, over weeks rather than overnight.
A wide lower face can come from bone, from muscle, or from both, and the treatment only works on one of them. Feeling the masseter while you clench establishes which applies to you in about ten seconds, and it is the first thing done at consultation.
Where the width is muscular, relaxing the masseter means it is used with less force, and like any under-used muscle it gradually reduces in bulk. The lower face narrows and the line from cheekbone to chin softens into a more tapered shape.
Patience is the main requirement. Nothing changes in the first two weeks. The difference becomes visible around six to eight weeks and deepens after a second treatment at four months. Clients who maintain it twice yearly tend to hold a stable result.

Then this treatment will not change it, and you will be told that rather than sold a course of injections. Bone structure can only be altered surgically. Sometimes adding definition elsewhere, such as chin projection, improves the overall proportion instead.
