Profhilo is an award winning injectable skin remodelling treatment with one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available. It deeply hydrates while stimulating collagen and elastin to improve firmness, elasticity and crepey skin, without adding unwanted volume.
It is not a filler and adds no shape. After injection it spreads through the tissue rather than staying where it is placed, hydrating the skin from within and prompting it to produce its own collagen and elastin. That is why it suits the complaint of skin looking tired and lacking bounce rather than having specific lines.
It works particularly well on the neck and decolletage, areas most people neglect and where crepiness shows earliest.
It is given as five small injections per side at specific points, taking about ten minutes. Small raised bumps are normal for the first day and settle overnight. The standard protocol is two treatments a month apart, then maintenance every six months.
